How it works

Two fees keep it going. Your coin's fee pays you and burns your coin. $FEED's fee pays the worker, which burns $FEED and the biggest coins.

  1. 1

    You launch

Pick a name, ticker and image and sign once. That one transaction creates the coin on pump.fun paired with $FEED, sets a 1% creator fee, and locks pump.fun's fee sharing at 50% to your wallet and 50% to the coin's burn key. You can check the split on the coin's pump.fun page.

  2. 2

    People trade it

They pay in SOL. The site routes it SOL to $FEED to your coin in one pump.fun swap, so each buy is also a $FEED buy. Selling goes the other way, to $FEED and on to SOL if they like.

  3. 3

    Your coin's fee splits

Each trade leaves 1% in $FEED with pump.fun. The keeper triggers pump.fun's payout: half lands in your wallet, half in the burn key, which spends it on your coin and burns what it bought.

  4. 4

    The worker runs

$FEED earns a creator fee in SOL like any pump.fun coin; 80% of it goes to the worker. Once in every five-minute window, at a random second, the worker keeps a little SOL for gas and spends the rest: half on $FEED, half on the three coins with the highest average market cap over the last hour, split 50/30/20. All of it is burned.

One run, in numbers

Say the worker has 10 SOL to spend when its second comes up. This is the split it runs, with the same rounding: each share rounds down and the remainder goes to the last one.

$FEED5.000 SOL
#1 coin2.500 SOL
#2 coin1.500 SOL
#3 coin1.000 SOL

With only two coins, #3's 1 SOL stays in the worker wallet for the next run.

Built against the obvious games

  1. Pumping a coin into the top 3 a minute before the run. Rank is the hour's average, sampled each minute, with a missing minute counted as zero. One minute at ten times its usual cap lifts the hour's average by 15%.
  2. Buying just ahead of the worker. The run lands at a random second inside its window, picked when the window opens and never published.
  3. Launching to farm the fee. You can, and that is the deal: half of your coin's fee is yours. The other half burns your own coin, not someone else's.
  4. Changing the split later. pump.fun's fee sharing on every Feedpad coin is locked at launch. A coin whose split is anything else is not shown and never bought.

Questions

What do I get for launching?+

Half of your coin's 1% trading fee, for as long as it trades, paid in $FEED. pump.fun's fee sharing sends it to your wallet; it is locked at launch and nobody can change it. The other half buys your coin back and burns it.

Why is my coin priced in $FEED?+

pump.fun lets a coin be quoted in another pump.fun coin. Feedpad coins are quoted in $FEED, so anyone buying yours with SOL buys $FEED first, in the same transaction.

Where does the burn money come from?+

Two places. Each coin's own fee: half of it buys that coin back and burns it. And $FEED's creator fee, paid in SOL: 80% goes to the worker, which every five minutes spends half on $FEED and half on the three biggest coins, then burns all of it.

How does a coin get into the top 3?+

By having the highest average market cap over the last hour. The keeper samples every coin once a minute and counts a missing minute as zero, so a coin pumped for one minute before a run gets a sixtieth of the credit.

When exactly does the worker buy?+

At a random second inside each five-minute window, chosen when the window opens. The window is public; the second is not. That is on purpose, so nobody can line up a buy just ahead of it.

What does a launch cost?+

Only what pump.fun charges to create a coin and open its accounts. Feedpad takes nothing. The launch window shows the total before you sign. A first buy is optional.

How do I sell?+

On pump.fun, like any coin there. A Feedpad coin sells for $FEED, which you can sell for SOL in the same place.

What can go wrong?+

These are memecoins and can go to zero. Every coin carries $FEED's price: if $FEED falls, they fall with it. The burns depend on the keeper running. If it stops, fees wait in pump.fun's vaults until it runs again.
